Lesson 7: When to Stop a Session

You do not push through a treatment. You stop when the skin shows a response outside of normal
treatment expectations.

Stop if:

  • The reaction is outside what is normal for that client
  • Pain is increasing beyond what is expected
  • The skin starts to look grey, overly shiny, or altered
  • You are unsure about what you are seeing

If the response is unclear or outside of normal expectations, stop and reassess.
